| The Sentence GameOh man, this game is amazing. I encourage everyone to try this as it's a blast. Think of it as telephone and pictionary's lovechild. You start out with a sentence, then someone draws a picture of that sentence, then someone writes a sentence about that picture, and so on, and so on. It's all web based here, but you can play it at home too! Here's two pictures that I drew for this game. The captions are the sentences that I got to Attack of the Refrigerator Elephants!!!

| Freshmen we were "Playing with Pink Noise" - Kaki King
I miss being a freshman. Not really the fact of being a freshman,
but just the unique experiences I had. College life was so new and
exciting. I met more new friends then I had ever met all my life, I
wasn't too extremely stressed, and I even had time to update my blog
regularly. Now, life is different. I haven't made any remarkable
friendships, my life is full of stress, and I barely have time to read
other people's blog updates, let alone update my own. I have more good
friends now than I've ever had, but I feel disconnected with the rest
of campus for some reason. It's a little depressing, but in a way good
too. I suppose I'm just growing up or something lame like that. I mean
seriously, who wants to grow up?
That's another thing, why does school have to be so stressful?
Shouldn't learning new things be exciting? Shouldn't we want to learn
so much that we would just end the semesters knowing everything we need
to without even having to be tested? And I'm not even being stupid, why
isn't learning fun? Learning hasn't been fun since 2nd grade. I have
fun learning things on the internet, I have fun learning things on my
guitar, I have fun learning things about people I know, but I've almost
never had fun learning things at school. It just doesn't make sense.
And everyone blames it on us as students not wanting to learn. I WANT
TO LEARN! What teachers don't realize is that because of the way our
world is changing, the way we learn things is also changing. Lectures
don't work, worksheets don't work, just because you have a powerpoint
doesn't mean we're going to enjoy learning whatever's on it. Wake up
teachers! We're different! You'd better figure us out, or our worlds
going to be a very sucky place in the near future.
I could go on and on about that, but I won't. So that's all I'm going to say for now.
